Hello and welcome to BMD!

This is something that goes on in the General Discussion area at the other main forum I go to. Basically, you can talk about anything (within board rules of course), anytime. It just promotes communication between members and gets us to know each other more (so we can start making fun :p).

And when the topic gets locked (assuming topics do when they reach a certain amount of posts), a new one is created with a slightly different topic title, as long as it still contains 'Bored Members'.

Opinions on this topic and its themes?

Activity is generally a good thing too.
Also: why is everybody 'Master of the Pantry'? Kinda weird.

Well...ok...I guess.

I'm currently quite ill...so not doing uni work like I should be :/ Instead I'm watching the Matrix: Reloaded and trying to clear the congestion in my skull.

Good luck getting well.. It's not nice being ill. Fortunately I have been lucky lately and have not catched any of the bad stuff drifting around.

Matrix Reloaded was not that fantastic in my opinion. Nothing beats the first part.

Finally feeling a bit better. For the first time in days I can actually breathe through my nose. That's probably due to the medicine I've been taking. Still, I won't be able to get to badminton practise tonight unfortunately :/

Lots of people didn't seem to like the second and third Matrix films very much at all. However, whilst I do agree the first one's the best, I like the other two almost as much as it.

Nice to hear your health is approving. My wife (Fingolfin's sister by the way) is going through the same thing I think. She is on antibiotics now, so she is getting better rapidly luckily.

What I think is the most important reason for Matrix 2 and 3 to be a disappointment for many is the fact that the first part came as a surprice on many when they saw it the first time.

Number two and three was just more of the same - like an extension of the film. But I agree with you. Part two and three were okay as well.

By the way: Have you seen the fifth element? If not, I really recommend it. It's a fantastic science fiction film with Bruce Willis playing the main characher. I think I have seen it fifteen times, and I still enjoy it.

What I also think may have made the second and third Matrix films a disapointment is I know many people (myself included) thought that the story finished with the first film, and that a whole trilogy wasn't entirely necessary. I certainly didn't expect two sequels when I first saw the first film.

As for the Star Wars films, they're pretty awesome. I actually liked all of them, including Episodes 1, 2 and 3.

hmm I think 1,2 and third episode have too much special effects comparing with quite bad plot, I mean they've filmed it in not so interesting way - good for one time, but old parts are made way better, hmm it's very hard to make a film, which is good to see for a few times

So I get over one illness to go straight into another.

As far as my health's concerned, life sucks right now.
