Mordor vs. Roman Empire-Who Wins?

I was doing little research on my own and found this topic:

and it caught my eye. What do you think, who would win, Mordor from end of Third Age or Roman Empire from around AD 117 (under imperator Trajan)?

After reading the thread there, it looks like the opinions are divided. I guess it all depends on where the battle would take place - and if the magic is taken out of the equation.

In my opinion Mordor should have a fair chance in the forest against the Romans. On an open field the Romans would probably win.
