If you adore horses like I do, then isn't Shadowfax just everything a horse should be? What a pity I can't find any extra information regarding this beautiful steed. Is he a gelding or a stallion? Who trained him to act so well? What was his everyday relationship with Gandalf really like and was it him or a stuntman riding bareback and without a bridle? The special effects-behind the scenes DVDs hardly spoke about him! In fact it would be lovely to find out more regarding the equestrian side of the films. If anybody knows anything please let me know.
