Greetings all. Glad to find such a fine looking site for Lord of the Rings. I hope this place grows quickly, and gets more active.

One thing I don't like however, is how with each post there's the 'Re: Welcome to LOTR talk'. It seems to needlessly clutter up the page. But then, that's just my opinion. Also, it would be nice to see other sections/forum areas, such as other literature by Tolkien, or off topic discussion.

Question: at what post count will a topic get locked? It's 200 at the other forum I go to, so as to save on server space and load.

I see no need to lock topics unless a really old topic keeps getting bumped. The server load and bandwidth usage is no problem to us, since we are on a dedicated server Smiley If the server gets slow for some reason we will just move the forum to a new server.. So, don't worry Smiley

A suggestion: add another board under the 'J. R. R Tolkien's works' area named 'Other Tolkien Literature' or something along those lines. That way we can have an area for the History of Middle Earth books or Unfinished Tales, etc. etc.
