Only working from memory here, but...
I believe there's quite a bit in the appendicies of Return of the King
There's likely some in Unfinished Tales and the Silmarillion.

Also, if I remember correctly, the Lost Road and Other Writings (History of Middle Earth V) is generally about Numenor and their progression to Gondor - don't hold me on that though.

I'm not completely crazy about lord of the rings, but I have read some about it, so I figured I'd count on this site. I have read the hobbit, the lord of the rings trilogy, the silmarillion, and have seen all the movies. (There is even a cartoon movie of hobbit, but it isn't as good.) I've played a couple of the video games. Um, and Alpha, is your name related to lotR, or is it just a cool name?

Hi there im a uni student in 3rd year and have been given an assignment to join an online community and find out what happens and participate in discussions and forums. I have seen the movies but a long time ago so can not fully remember them.

Hey, I just started playing this amazing game!

I'm coming from a different gaming background (call of duty) so it's still a bit hard for me to follow everything that's going on, haha.... but I'm sure I will have some fun!

OK, 'Dunger' is my nickname. Not sure of the origins but it has stuck for a few years now. My LotR knowledge is loosely based around the 3 main books and films. Unfortunately I do not extend to the games or other books.
